Opal Rings
Despite being very stunning, opals are not suited for rings as they are quite delicate. If can’t be helped, it is recommended to choose a setting that protects the opal from coming in contact with hard objects.
Opal rings are not, however, recommended for Engagement or Wedding rings because opal rings are prone to damage from the everyday activities simply because opals are too soft, compared to diamonds and sapphires. Opal rings are more suitable as a dress ring when going out.
