Loose Opal Koroit Boulder Nut
Koroit and Yowah nuts, called “picture stones”, are opal gemstones found naturally as matrix boulders from the Queensland Australia
These unique stones have very pure colors that appear in veins within the boulder. The opals in the veins make the boulder look like its lighting up from within and the play of colors can be as mesmerizing as Black Opals.
Additionally, Koroit and Yowah nuts make very beautiful beads, but most prefer Koroit and Yowah nuts in its natural form, polished or rough.
Some claim that Koroit and Yowah nuts are actually more beautiful and stunning than Black Opals themselves.
Because Black Opals are quite expensive and rare, many collectors and investors are looking into Koroit and Yowah nuts as an alternative, since many of these boulders are just as brilliant and dazzling as Black Opals but fraction of the price.
Koroit and Yowah nuts have the potential to increase in value greatly due to its relatively low prices, while Black Opals probably will not increase as fast considering its current high prices.
